What is the difference between the H-Drive and I-Drive?

The H-Drive is the company's public server. Anyone in the firm has access to it, and it is used for collaborative purposes and publicly-accessible files.

Below are some sample data saved on the H-Drive:

  • Listing records
  • Department files
  • Broker resources
  • Training resources
  • Templates, logos and other design resources

Since the H-Drive is publicly accessible, please do not save any personal or sensitive information that you would not want your colleagues to have access to.

The H-Drive can be accessed remotely if you are working from a company computer and connect to the VPN.

The I-Drive is your local computer's storage, than only you have access to. You may use it for your personal needs, so consider the files saved here as your computer.

The I-Drive has the storage capacity or a typical PC, so be mindful of what content you save.
